OUT OF REGION PLAY (OORP) STEP BY STEP.
This is for teams wiling and eligible to play more soccer after the season has ended.
Certain criteria must be met while playing the Fall Season. The team will be observed.
OORP Applications are required for every tournament application.
The team must obtain OORP approval (contact [email protected]) before an application to the venue director can be mailed. Starting late on OORP application does not constitute an urgency on the R73 approval process.
The first OORP (pre-check) to be submitted by October 12. This will help your team to get ready for OORP.
GET ORGANIZED
1. Find a tournament coordinator amongst the team parents who will help getting all papers ready.
2. Make sure the team understands fully the AYSO Vision and Mission. Every member of the team.
3. The team must be compliant with all AYSO National and Regional Procedure and Protocols
4. Be early in determining which tournaments the team wants to participate in. Check vacations and holidays.
5. Complete an Out Of Region Play (OORP) application for each tournament
6. Download the tournament rules and application forms and include CPF and IPL-s as needed with the OORP
7. Collect payments with an Individual Payment Letter (IPL) for every player contributing to the tournament fees.
8. Tally the total payments and complete the Consolidated Payment Form (CPF).
9. Ensure that the total of the IPLs matches the payment on CPF. Do not round off. Coach pays the difference.
10. Deliver OORP with the Tournament application, CPF and IPLs to Regional Commissioner for review and approval.
11. When OORP is approved with the tournament application, collect the Region 73 check to pay for the venue fees.
DEPOSITING FUNDS
To deposit funds with AYSO Regional Treasurer use the Consolidated Payment Form (CPF). Individual Payment Letter (IPL) for each player/parent contribution. These must be turned in with the OORP package.

Forms of payment to the Regional Treasurers can be:

opt3: Cash: Must hand-deliver with a signed Cash Tally Sheet (two signatures required)
opt4: Check mailed to AYSO Region 73 (team accepts risc that check may not arrive).
An acknowledgement is to be sent by the Regional Treasurer to confirm that funds and OORP are received.

NOTES:
ONLY when OORP is approved by the Regional Commissioner a Regional Check may be issued for the venue fees.
NOTE: Refunds may be delayed considerably for incomplete or incomplete paperwork. It is the team's responsibility that all paperwork is received, reviewed and signed off by the Regional Commissioner.

FORMS
2025 SPONSORSHIP FORM T: for donations for travelling teams participating in outside R73 Venues.
For example: Area 10A Plays, Section 10 Plays, Other Outside Region-73 Tournaments.
The donations will go in the Region Tournament Fund Account to be used by Travelling Teams for entry fees.
Do not use this Sponsor Form-T for any of donations to the R73 Fall and Spring soccer (core) programs.
Tournament donations are not transferable or refundable. AYSO not allows cross transfers between tournament accounts and R73 soccer core program accounts.
