Parent Responsibilities
Every AYSO parent must create a Sports Connect Account (SCA).
A second parent or guardian can be added under the same account to view player details and orders.
Only parents or legal guardians can register a player — not coaches or third parties.
By registering, parents agree to follow all AYSO regional policies.
Letting a coach sign up a player under their own account violates AYSO protocols and insurance rules.

Volunteering
Volunteering isn’t required but is strongly encouraged.
Having team volunteers helps players get the most from the season.
Youth volunteers can earn community service hours through AYSO.
Parent volunteers can develop leadership and teamwork skills.
Volunteer Registration via Sports Connect
Key points for using a Sports Connect Account (SCA):
The primary account holder should create AYSO volunteer applications.
Each SCA requires a unique email address (it’s your login ID).
The primary account is portable; secondary accounts are not.
Youth volunteers need a guardian/parent SCA in the system first.
A “family circle” links related SCAs (parent, guardian, etc.).
Secondary account holders can create their own SCAs if they wish to volunteer.
The invite process is required only for youth volunteers.

Building Lifelong Connections
Every volunteer must have their own email and Sports Connect account.
Volunteer credentials stay active in AYSO records while you’re involved.
Parents can invite friends or relatives to join the program through the family circle feature.
Volunteering fosters lasting friendships and community connections.
