CONCESSION
VOLUNTEERS
At AYSO Region 73 we provide concession services for our community members.
The service is run by volunteers. Consider helping us for a few hours.
We are licensed by the City of Bakersfield and must follow the City ordinances and follow strict food handling standards.
PRODUCTS
We offer a limited choice of products and it depends on the community.
All food products have a limited shelf life time and we must sell them in a short period of time.
We do our best to keep the prices reasonable for our community members, minimize waste and trash for the good of our environment,
and follow rules for safety and health. Our Region is providing service for the convenience for our members.
PAMENT
The members can pay with cash or electronically with ZELLE or CC (we use Square Terminal)
ZELLE we selected for the following reasons:
ZELLE which linked with Debit Cards cannot be processed through our bank and are rejected.
Other electronic payments with Charge Cards are processed through Square.
These add fees which we add to our products as we are non-profit and sell at minimum cost.
AGREEMENT
Our Region is not giving permission to vendors to sell their products at our soccer fields
Sellers must have written agreement with AYSO region 73 for selling products at the Kaiser Permanente Bakersfield Sports Village Soccer Fields. They must be properly Licensed as required by the City of Bakersfield and have the Insurance for liability on their products.
ILLEGAL SALES.
Neither the CIty of Bakersfield or AYSO Region 73 will be responsible if you buy products from a seller/vendor who has illegally entered on our fields without an agreement and/or food license. Anyone buying from them do so at their own risks. Neither the CIty of Bakersfield or AYSO Region 73 will help you in any way to receive compensation of any kind for damages, injuries or other mishaps you may suffer.
BARBECUE AND GRILLS
The CITY does not allow barbecue or grill systems anywhere at or near the Soccer Fields Facilities.
They are considered hazards for players and adults and may under the wrong circumstances damage park structures. The persons can be sued for any damages they may have indirectly or directly caused by using these devices at the soccer fields.
MONITORING
The City provides Park Rangers and Police to monitor the fields and can be called upon request by AYSO Region 73
