⚽ About the EPIC Program

The EPIC (Everyone Plays In our Community) Program is designed to provide a fun, inclusive, and safe soccer experience for individuals—both children and adults—who have physical and/or intellectual disabilities that may prevent them from participating on mainstream teams.

The only requirements are that participants be ambulatory and have a desire to play soccer. This special program creates a supportive, non-competitive environment where players of all ages can enjoy the game while building friendships and teamwork. Fun always comes first, and every player is celebrated.

You’ll find a wonderful mix of participants—from young children to older adults—all united by their love for soccer and a sense of belonging.

🧡 Become an EPIC Buddy!

We’re looking for EPIC "Buddies"—able-bodied volunteers who assist players both on and off the field. Buddies are often family members, but anyone with a heart for inclusion and a desire to help is welcome.

Most players will need a Buddy with them on the field. If the coach observes that a player does not have a Buddy and feels that one is needed to support safe and active participation, the parent or guardian will be asked to step in and guide the player during the game or practice.

AYSO also requires that parents or guardians remain present with their player at all times during games and practices to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please visit our website to register as a Buddy. Your support truly makes a lasting impact on our players, helping create a meaningful and joyful experience for all.

🌟 Meet Our Team

Our EPIC team, the Rainbow Skittles, is the heart of the program. Coached by a dedicated volunteer who has been with us for many years, the team thrives in an atmosphere filled with warmth, compassion, and positivity. She brings energy and encouragement to every practice and game, helping each player feel confident and included.

🎯 Our Mission

The mission of the AYSO EPIC Program is to provide a quality soccer experience for individuals with disabilities, allowing them to participate in a joyful, supportive environment.

In EPIC, success isn’t measured by goals or wins—it's measured by smiles, laughter, and the safety and enjoyment of all participants. With trained coaches and dedicated volunteers, we’re committed to delivering a season full of memories that players and their families will cherish forever.
