AYSO R73 REFUND POLICY

REFUND POLICY FOR ALL SEASONS

Our region understands that at times there are reasons that a player may not continue with the soccer season after registering.
Your registration fee includes: 

a - Regional fee which is for costs running the regional soccer program (may be refundable) and one player uniform order.
b - National fee which is for insurance and administration of the player (non-transferable, non-refundable)
c- Transaction fees which are paid to companies like Sports Connect to handle the payment transactions (non-refundable, non transferable)
 
Please allow 4-6 weeks to process your refund. It will be discussed in our next board meeting. Sometimes it may take longer if the board is unable to meet and discuss the case.
Registration refunds requested prior to the registration closing date will receive all monies paid except for the AYSO National fee and any transaction fees charged by Sports Connect and regional cost deductions.
Requests received after registration closing date will be viewed on a case by case basis.


The refund request must be in writing and the date on the postage stamp or the email received by our Regional Commissioner will be used as reference
Any request by phone or text msg MUST be followed with an e-mail in which the formal request is made. 

Refunds will be paid to the person, primary account holder, who made the registration for the player(s).
Refunds will not be in cash but by check or electronic means of transfer. Zelle or Bank Check are the most preferred payment types.
Only apply once and send one email for a refund for a child. Multiple requests for same child may cause delay or reject a refund request.
All refunds must be approved at a board meeting. The regional board decision is final. Reply to all our emails asking for further information.
All requests for a registration refund must be made in writing. We prefer email from the parent /guardian who is the primary account holder.
Mail to our POBOX is acceptable but date stamp must be before the Registration Closing Date.

body of email: Player's full legal name, DOB, reason for request, Valid US mail address, phone number.


NOTES:


N1: Please be aware that on the Registration Page is shown a date after which no refunds may not be considered by the regional board.

N2: To receive full or best refund the player must return the uniform if one was already received.

N3: There is no refund or re-shipment of a uniform in case of inaccurate uniform details and/or inaccurate shipping details. 

N4: The transaction fees are not refunded by Sports Connect. A transaction fee is charged every time a transaction is initiated for payment.
We recommend that all players in one household are registered in one order with one payment.

N5: AYSO will charge a non-refundable, non-transferable fee for every registered player which currently is set for $25. This fee pays for the National Registration and insurance premiums for one AYSO year (runs from july 1st to next year June 30 th). Players can (re-)register anytime in the current AYSO year  without paying the AYSO fee. 

N6: 
The refund process starts with verification of the registration on Sports Connect portal. Incomplete registration will reject the refund request.
The refund request is forwarded with details to the regional board. In the next board meeting this request is discussed.
If approved, the Regional Treasurer prepares for signatures and payment.


ACCIDENTAL REGISTRATION AND REFUND.

           A player was registered by mistake at website www.ayso73.org.

1.     Immediately (within 48 hours) contact our Regional Commissioner Julio Velez at [email protected] for a full refund.

2.     DO NOT start a dispute with your Credit Card company for undelivered services.

a.      This will result in a min $35 charge back fee which will be invoiced to the parent.

b.      This invoice to be paid before any new registration can be completed.

3.     The email and/or text date stamp is used as reference for your timely request.
