How to Access AYSOU (ETrainU)

1. Go to your AYSO Region 73 site:
   https://www.ayso73.org

2. Log in to your Sports Connect Account (SCA):
   Use your unique email address — each volunteer must have their own account (not shared with a family member).

3. Open the Volunteer Page:

   • Click the Volunteer icon on the left panel of your dashboard.

   • If you’ve registered as a volunteer, you’ll see your role information, Risk Status (Green for cleared adults, Blue for youth), and any required courses/actions.

4. Renew Risk Status (if needed):

   • If your Risk Status is expired, check the box next to it and click Renew & Update.

   • Adults will receive an email from Sterling Volunteers within minutes to complete the background check.

5. Access AYSOU (ETrainU):

   • On the Volunteer page, click the “AYSOU” button.

   • This will open ETU (ETrainU) in a new tab and automatically log you in.

   • Once inside ETU, you can search for courses and enroll.

If You Haven’t Registered as a Volunteer Yet

• You’ll see a blank Volunteer page with a message saying “Find Volunteer Roles.”

• Click Find Volunteer Roles, choose your role (Coach, Referee, Team Parent, etc.), and complete the Volunteer Application.

• Watch the instructional videos under the site’s menu VOLUNTEERING & TRAINING for help.

Youth Volunteers

• No background check is required for youth.

• A parent must eSign the youth volunteer application within their own account.

Adult Volunteers

• Must complete a background check (email from Sterling Volunteers).

• Also required to complete a Fingerprint / LiveScan check (once only).

• Check details under VOLUNTEERING & TRAINING → IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION NOTES on the Region 73 site.
